The Department of Finance at the Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track contract faculty position beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across a range of finance areas, as determined by departmental needs.
• Mentor students participating in the CFA Research Challenge and advise finance majors.
• Contribute to service activities at the department, school, university, and professional levels.
• Maintain a strong on-campus presence in South Orange and actively engage in high-impact student activities, including recruiting, teaching, mentoring, and academic program development.

Required Qualifications:

• A graduate degree in finance or a related field from an accredited, reputable institution.
• A demonstrated record of effective teaching, or strong potential for excellence in teaching.
• Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and members of the professional finance community.
• A genuine commitment to collegiality, student well-being, and academic excellence.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

• A strong record of collaborative teaching, student recruitment, mentoring, and supporting job placement.
• Extensive industry experience in finance; possession of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential is highly preferred.

Salary Range:

$77,912-$86,569

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt

Physical Demands: General Office Environment
